The Orhangazi Mosque of Çayağzı village is east of Akçakoca centre. According to tradition it was built by Orhan Gazi in 1323; its name in the archive records is "Sultan Orhan Camii Şerifi".

The ground floor is rubble stone and the upper floor is wood. The wooden part is built with the çantı technique, in which logs are interlocked without nails. The 8 × 12 m building has no minaret.

The mosque was registered in 1995 and restored by the General Directorate of Foundations in 2007. The turbaned gravestones in its garden are also worth seeing. The village also has a historic stone mill.
